How we’ll work together
No confusing jargon and no nasty surprises. You approve the plan before we design anything, and the design before we build anything. Here is exactly what happens, stage by stage.
Discover
We get to know your business, your customers and what you need the website to do.
Before we design anything, we need to understand what you sell, who buys it, and what someone visiting your site is trying to find out. We look at your current website if you have one, see how your competitors present themselves, and agree together what this project needs to achieve.
- Kick-off session and goals
- Review of the current site or brand
- Competitor and market look
- Audience and decision mapping
- Scope, timeline and deliverables
Structure
We agree the pages and what goes on them before any design work starts.
This is the stage most agencies skip, and it’s why so many websites end up confusing. We plan which pages you need, what goes on each one and in what order, and where people will be asked to get in touch. Changes here take minutes. Changes after the design is built take days. You approve the plan before we move on.
- Sitemap and page inventory
- Section-by-section page structure
- Messaging and copy direction
- Conversion points and CTAs
- SEO keyword mapping per page
Design
You see and approve the look before we build the rest of the pages.
We design your homepage and one inside page first, using your real content rather than placeholder text, so you can see exactly how it’ll look. Once you’re happy, the rest of the pages follow the same style. Two rounds of changes are included at every stage, so you’re never stuck with something you don’t like.
- Visual direction on real content
- Full desktop and mobile designs
- Component and design system
- Two revision rounds per stage
- Written rationale for key decisions
Build
We build it, make it fast, and test it on real phones and computers.
Now we build what you approved. We compress your images so pages load quickly, set everything up properly for Google, connect your contact forms, and test the whole site on real phones and computers — not just by shrinking a browser window.
- Responsive build across three breakpoints
- Image compression and correct sizing
- On-page SEO and structured data
- Forms, tracking and integrations
- Cross-browser and device testing
Launch & support
We put it live, show you how to use it, and stay available afterwards.
We handle putting the site live and check everything works on your real domain. Then we walk you through making your own edits, so you’re not dependent on us for small changes. You’ll not be left on your own afterwards either — we stay reachable, and if you want us running your ads or SEO too, the same people look after both.
- Launch and live-domain checks
- Analytics and Search Console setup
- Training and written handover
- Post-launch support window
- Ongoing ads, SEO or content if wanted
What we need from you
One person to decide
Please gather your team’s feedback and send it as one voice. Too many opinions coming in separately is the quickest way to make a project take twice as long and turn out worse.
Your content, early on
Your logo, photos, product details and access to your domain and hosting. We can write the words for you, but we can’t invent your services or your prices.
Feedback in one go
Two rounds of changes are included at each stage. Sending it all together rather than a bit at a time keeps things moving and keeps the price predictable.
An honest budget
Tell us the real figure you have in mind. We would much rather plan the right project for your budget than design something you cannot afford to build.
