Overview
BuyMe explores the identity of a modern commerce brand designed to connect digital shopping with a coherent physical delivery experience.
The concept was developed beyond the logo itself, extending the visual system across packaging, shopping bags, shipping materials, stickers, stationery and digital storefront applications.
The brief
Develop a flexible visual identity that can:
- Be recognised quickly across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Feel modern and approachable.
- Work effectively at small and large sizes.
- Translate into packaging and fulfilment materials.
- Connect the online shopping experience with the physical delivery experience.
- Provide a scalable foundation for an e-commerce brand.
Our approach
We started with a simple visual idea: combine the recognisable silhouette of a shopping bag with a directional movement motif.
The resulting symbol gives the brand a commerce association while suggesting movement, exchange and delivery.
From there, the system was tested across a range of physical and digital touchpoints.
Design decisions
Commerce-led symbol
The mark uses a simplified shopping-bag form alongside an arrow-like movement element. This makes the category intuitive without relying on a generic cart icon.
Black and orange
The restrained black-and-orange palette balances clarity with energy.
Black provides contrast and legibility; orange gives the brand a distinctive action-oriented accent.
Scalable wordmark
The wordmark is intentionally straightforward so it can sit comfortably beside the symbol across packaging, navigation and promotional materials.
Physical brand system
The identity was applied to:
- Shipping boxes
- Branded tape
- Shopping bags
- Mailers
- Stickers
- Business cards
- Receipts
- Product/store interfaces
The goal was to demonstrate how the same identity could follow the customer from screen to doorstep.
Why we designed it this way
E-commerce brands do not exist only on a website.
The customer sees the identity when browsing, ordering, receiving a package and opening it.
The concept therefore treats packaging as part of the product experience rather than a separate production task.
What this project demonstrates
BuyMe demonstrates Fortsrex’s ability to think about identity as a system, extending a logo into packaging, digital commerce and physical customer touchpoints.
Outcome
This is a branding concept. No customer, sales or market-performance claims are attached to the project.
