Overview
FAVRIGHT is a leather-goods brand built around handcrafted bags and accessories. The identity was developed to give the brand a visual language that could communicate craftsmanship, confidence and premium positioning across both digital and physical touchpoints.
The work became part of a broader digital experience, with the brand identity carried through the FAVRIGHT website and product experiences.
The brief
The identity needed to:
- Create a recognisable mark for a premium leather brand.
- Communicate craftsmanship without looking dated.
- Balance heritage and contemporary design.
- Work across digital and print applications.
- Remain effective when used on products and packaging.
- Create a foundation that could extend into an e-commerce experience.
Our approach
We approached the identity as a brand system rather than a standalone logo.
The direction focused on creating a refined mark, a strong wordmark and a restrained colour system that could feel premium without becoming overly decorative.
The identity was then tested through practical applications so the system could be judged in context rather than only on a blank artboard.
Design decisions
A refined monogram
The monogram provides a compact visual asset that can work independently from the full wordmark. This is useful for small applications, social avatars, product details and other spaces where the full brand name may not fit comfortably.
Gold-led identity
The gold treatment reinforces the premium character of the brand and creates a strong connection with the warmth and materiality associated with leather.
Strong wordmark
The FAVRIGHT wordmark is kept simple and spacious. The typography gives the brand room to feel confident rather than crowded.
Supporting descriptor
The “Leather Atelier · Made in Lagos” positioning helps connect the visual identity to craftsmanship and origin.
Application before decoration
The identity was considered through business cards, website interfaces and product-related applications. This helped ensure the mark remained practical rather than being designed only for presentation.
Why we designed it this way
The goal was to make FAVRIGHT feel like a brand with a point of view, not simply a manufacturer selling leather products.
The identity therefore combines:
Craftsmanship + restraint + premium detail
so it can support both physical products and a sophisticated digital storefront.
What this project demonstrates
FAVRIGHT demonstrates Fortsrex’s ability to create an identity that can move from logo → print → digital experience → e-commerce while maintaining visual consistency.
Outcome
This was an independent client project. No unsupported brand-growth or sales figures are attributed to the identity.
