A note on this project

This one is our own design idea rather than client work. We created it to show how we would approach this kind of business. It was not commissioned by anyone, and we are not claiming any results from it.

Boutique Hospitality · Digital Experience

Project type: Self-initiated design exploration Project status: Showcase project

Overview

NOVA House explores a contemporary boutique-hotel experience built around architecture, atmosphere, food and local discovery.

The project was designed around the idea that a hotel website should sell more than a room. It should make the visitor imagine what it feels like to be there.

The brief

Create a hospitality website that can:

  • Establish a distinctive hotel atmosphere immediately.
  • Present rooms in an aspirational way.
  • Make booking accessible without dominating the experience.
  • Position dining and experiences as part of the stay.
  • Communicate the hotel’s story and personality.
  • Help visitors understand the location.
  • End with a clear path to booking.

Our approach

The experience follows an emotional guest journey:

Arrive → Explore → Stay → Eat → Experience → Discover → Book

The design behaves partly like a travel editorial and partly like a booking experience.

Design decisions

Immersive opening

A full-width visual establishes the atmosphere immediately, while the booking interaction remains accessible within the hero.

Room storytelling

Rooms are presented as experiences rather than inventory items. The design gives photography, description and booking action enough room to coexist.

Dining as a destination

The restaurant receives significant visual and editorial space because food is treated as part of the reason to stay, not merely an amenity.

Atmospheric palette

Deep green and near-black surfaces create an intimate environment that allows warm photography to become the primary source of visual variation.

Gallery-led discovery

The image grid acts as a visual travel journal, giving visitors a sense of the place before they reach practical details.

Booking as a recurring action

The design keeps the next step visible throughout the journey without allowing the interface to become overly transactional.

Why we designed it this way

Hospitality is inherently visual.

Before guests compare details, they often need to imagine the feeling of being there.

The website therefore uses visual storytelling to build desire and practical information to turn that desire into a booking decision.

What this project demonstrates

NOVA House demonstrates Fortsrex’s ability to combine art direction, editorial storytelling, hospitality UX and conversion-focused structure.

Outcome

This is a self-initiated concept. There is no live property, booking data or occupancy performance behind the project.
